New insolvency forms from April

Insolvency bannerCompanies House has issued a list of new insolvency forms that will supersede the existing forms when the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 take effect on 6 April 2017.

As we reported in October, the new insolvency rules will replace the Insolvency Rules 1986 and their 28 subsequent amendments.

The new forms cover:

  • Corporate voluntary arrangement (CVA).
  • CVA moratorium.
  • Administration.
  • Receivership.
  • Members voluntary liquidation/creditors voluntary liquidation.
  • Winding up by the court.
  • Committees.
  • Notice of disclaimer.
  • Exempting property.
